Located at Muskegon County Resource Recovery, the White Pine Equestrian Trail has something for everyone! Hall Rd. side is wide enough for our cart friends! Roughly 7.5 miles at the Hall Rd. Staging area and about the same at the Maple Island staging area. Trails are mostly flat. Enjoy the ravine overlook, spring wild flowers and wildlife this location has to offer! Port-a-Jons at each staging area along with hitching posts.
Located in Dalton township, Dalton Horse Park offers approximately 8 miles of trails. Mostly flat with some hills, you'll enjoy this system as it winds through the forest. Wildlife is abundant at this location! Dalton Horse Park is equestrian only and no hunting, making this a premiere place to ride in the winter months. Staging area is located on the corner of Michilinda Rd and Automobile Rd.
With multiple locations in Muskegon county to jump on the Musketawa rail trail, this is truly an asset for equestrians! Please note, this is a multi-user trail and equestrians are required to remove horse droppings from the paved trail. To avoid this, please ride to the side when able.
